TB (Tuberculosis) Screening Tests

QuantiFERON TB Gold Blood Test

The QuantiFERON-TB Gold test is a blood test used to help detect Tuberculosis (TB) infection.

The test requires a blood sample and does not require a return visit to have the test read.

QuantiFERON testing may be required for employment, healthcare work, education, immigration or other screening purposes.

Mantoux Test

We also perform the traditional Mantoux Test (TB skin test). This  involves the patient attending for a skin test and then returning 48 hours later to have the skin test assessed.
