Dr Sheila Byrne graduated with an honours degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2001. Following internship in Beaumont Hospital, she completed vocational GP training on the North-East GP training scheme, graduating in 2005. Her special areas of interest include Paediatrics, Women’s Health and Family Planning; and she is qualified to insert and remove long-acting contraceptive devices such as Mirena/Jaydess/Kyleena/Copper coils and implanon devices. Dr Sheila completed a Master’s Degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine at the University of Bath in 2012.

 

Dr Michelle Rodgers

MB BCh BAO, MRGP, DCH, PDip Clinical Dermatology (St Barts, London), MSc Healthcare Law & Ethics.

Following internship year, Dr Michelle worked in Brisbane, Australia in the areas of emergency medicine and paediatrics.

She completed the East London GP training scheme in 2004 and was based in teaching practices in Hackney, East London until 2009. During that time she completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology with first class honours at St Barts and the London School of Medicine.

Since 2009 she has been working in the Dublin 2 area. In 2016 she completed a Masters in Healthcare Law and Ethics with RSCI, graduating with first class honours.

Her special areas of interest are Primary Care Dermatology/ Skin in adults and children, Women’s Health and Sexual Health.
